cover story
Time. Not enough! Never pausing.
So many simple and complex things happening constantly in the real world. Personally,
life has brought new focus with the constant challenges spawning daily, weekly or accumulating
monthly. I have done my best to bring harmony as I get older and hopefully wiser. Finding time
for a hobby has taken more greater importance as a way to unwind and relax. I avoid counting
calories but I swear off fructose corn syrup and hydrogenated anything.
Since Gigaquad launched in 1997 after watching an episode of Star Trek Voyager many changes
have taken place in the technology space. Will I ever have access to 50 million gigaquads of computer
memory? The most interesting aspect of computing for me today is the Sony PLAYSTATION 3 with its
cell-computing architecture. My frustration with keeping up with the latest hardware and software
upgrades have changed my perspective on many tech products. No longer an "upgrade whore." I am editing and
debugging code using Visual InterDev 6, viewing changes on Internet Explorer 7 (no more cross-browser
compatibility testing) and of course using Windows XP.
What does all this mean? I do not have Vista or FSX. Not intent wasting money on trival upgrades.
Blah, blah, blah. Your money - do as you wish.
Gigaquad is expanding to cover the Sony PLAYSTATION 2 and 3. I intend to relaunch Hopping Round the
World Adventure for FS2004, work to complete the How I Fly series and NoiseMakers which is a tribute to
717s, 727s, 737-200s and the MD80s to be flown on VatSim using Squakbox. Although I dread travelling in today's environment on US carriers I
will cover real-world travel from my own experiences.
Gigaquad. Connecting gamer's worldwide. Florida to China & beyond.

travel beyond
Everyday we make discoveries. Some simple, others life changing. No matter what the past we can
only change our future course in the present.

real-life We have been offline for so many months. Not much time for gaming. So little time for real life.
Do not forget to have fun I have to remind myself.
